Hey, I’m Cassandra.

My wanderlust first took hold when I left suburban New Jersey for an apartment on the Yucatan Peninsula. I arrived late at night, clutching a piece of paper with the apartment address, not sure if I was in the right place. I was relieved to be greeted by a friendly landlord and get settled into my new home. I became enamored by the thrill of discovering new places, learning the language, traversing cobblestone streets, and living like a local.

 

Travel makes us feel alive.  It gives us the opportunity to step away from our regular lives and become a brave explorer, a bohemian wanderer, a connected member of our global community.

I’ve danced to reggae on the cliffs of Jamaica, smoked hand rolled cigars on a tobacco farm in Cuba , climbed ancient Mayan ruins in Mexico, bathed elephants in Thailand and trekked through the desert on camelback in Egypt. 25 countries, 5 continents and 43 US states later, I can say with absolute certainty that there is no replacement for juicy life experiences. The joy of epic adventures last a lifetime.
